The mission of the Parents' Club is to support the morale of the cadets attending the United States Air Force Academy and that of their families.  The first year especially can be a very difficult time for the parents and cadets.  The parents of the older cadets have a great wealth of knowledge to share with the new parents and can help them with their concerns.

Some of the things we do as a club are:

In addition, the club serves the States of Kansas (Eastern)/Missouri (Western portion) as a resource for high school students who are interested in attending the Air Force Academy.  If you want someone to talk with who can answer your questions, help you through the process and give you some first hand information about what life at the Academy and life as the parent of a cadet is about, give us a call or contact us by e-mail.  We would be happy to help you find the information you need.

We generally meet four times each year.  We have a spring meeting in April, an Appointee Brunch in June, a picnic in July, and a fall meeting and packing of cadet care packages in October.  Our members all volunteer their time and talent.  The activities and minimal operating expenses of the club are funded by annual dues.  Participation in the group is a great way to connect with other parents of cadets and share the Academy experience.  It is also a support connection that is available to discuss concerns and to answer the many questions that parents have during the cadet's time at the Air Force Academy.
